Foam lamination is the process of applying foam to various materials like paper, leather, fabric, foil or aluminum sheets, felt, cardboard, and nylon. Laminating or adding foam to these products increases the foam sheet’s resistance to environmental factors like moisture and enhances the product’s appearance. Foam lamination on parts is done using two tools: adhesive or a heat machine, in two or three layers. During the final production of products, if it is necessary to add paper or any other item to foam sheets, based on the production unit’s discretion for optimizing the method, this can be done either using an adhesive machine that sticks the item onto the foam or by heating, which slightly melts the foam surface, allowing the non-foam item to stick to it.
